Students can enter individually, or team up in groups of 2, 3 or 4. (No more than 4 students per team).
Model homes should be no larger than 20” x 20” x 20”.
Each contestant (or team) must complete a registration form.
Judging will be determined by a panel of local professionals, the students and parents/families present.
Students must be prepared to speak briefly about what makes their model home unique.
If competing as a team, please include each additional team member's name in the fields below. As a reminder, each team can have up to four members.
After registration is complete, a representative from Habitat for Humanity of Greater Moses Lake will contact you to arrange delivery or pickup of the build kit. The build kit is provided to every participant or team and serves as the starting foundation for the project. Please provide the best email address and phone number for the parent or guardian who will be responsible for receiving the kit on behalf of the participant.
Please download the handouts below! One of the documents includes a guide to reference while building the model home, as well as a prompt to prepare for the presentation portion of the event. Both forms are great to have on hand throughout the process! The other handouts include a flyer in English and a flyer in Spanish with more information.
